What new value could Innovation deliver in this area over the next 3-5 years?
In the next 3-5 years we believe that Innovation will add new value to Operations. We believe that there will be much less data collected; instead, data will be accessed directly through systems and networks that have been put in place. Processes will be optimized, simplified and tailored to the changing environment with well-defined roles and responsibilities. Some non-critical Operational activities are likely to be outsourced or managed through AI, due to cost-related reasons, and need to focus on critical activities which require internal contral.
