Matthew is Executive Vice President of Customer Success and Professional Services at Wellspring, helping Global 1000 companies and leading research institutions to define and execute winning innovation strategies. Matthew has worked over two decades in the areas of strategy and innovation helping hundreds of companies reinvent their internal and external innovation capabilities. Matthew has held executive and C-level positions in top strategy & innovation firms, such as PriceWaterhouseCoopers, KPMG and NineSigma. Prior to his work in innovation, he spent over 10 years performing corporate turnarounds for large and mid-sized acquisition targets.
Matthew holds a Ph.D. in Systems Science, and has authored and co-authored many innovation articles and papers, as well as six books, including his contributions to the international bestseller, A Guide to Open Innovation and Crowdsourcing.–
